Yes — fully. Inspectors can complete entire shifts in buildings with no Wi-Fi or cell signal. The app stores everything locally (inspections, checklists, photos, signatures). When the device reconnects to any network, FireProof automatically syncs in the background. You'll see a sync status indicator in the app and receive a push notification when the upload is complete.

FireProof supports CSV import from your admin dashboard under Extinguishers → Import. The import wizard walks you through mapping your column names to FireProof fields. We support importing serial numbers, locations, types, last service dates, and historical inspection records. For large or complex imports (10,000+ records), contact support@fireproofapp.com and we'll assist directly.

From the admin dashboard, go to Reports → Compliance Report. Select your date range and locations, then click Export PDF. The report includes all inspection records with inspector names, timestamps, GPS coordinates, pass/fail status, and HMAC signatures. Reports can also be exported as CSV for import into other systems.

The FireProof inspector app uses your device's native camera with MLKit barcode scanning. Supported formats include: QR Code, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, DataMatrix, ITF, Codabar, and PDF417. This covers the formats on virtually all fire extinguisher tags from major manufacturers.

Yes. FireProof uses role-based access control. Inspectors see only the locations they've been assigned to. Location Managers see their managed locations. Tenant Administrators have full visibility across the organization. No inspector can view another organization's data — tenants are fully isolated.

Every inspection record is cryptographically signed using HMAC-SHA256 at the time it's submitted. The hash includes the inspector's identity, the inspection timestamp, GPS coordinates, and all checklist data. If any field is modified after submission, the hash will no longer match — making the alteration detectable. This gives you an audit trail that is verifiable and defensible in regulatory or legal proceedings.

Your account remains active through the end of your billing period. After cancellation, you can export all your data in CSV and PDF formats. We retain inspection records for 7 years after account closure to support NFPA 10 documentation requirements. You can request earlier deletion by contacting support@fireproofapp.com.

Yes — Enterprise plan customers receive dedicated onboarding assistance including a kickoff call, data import review, and inspector training walkthrough. FireProof does not process Protected Health Information (PHI). The platform stores fire extinguisher inspection records, which do not contain patient data. FireProof is deployed on infrastructure with strong security controls (encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, audit logging) that align with security best practices.
